At GreenBar.io, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our browser-based monitoring tools.
We use PostHog for privacy-friendly product analytics. This helps us understand which features are useful and improve the tool.
Collected Data: When analytics are enabled, we may collect anonymous usage data, including your IP address, browser type, device type, language settings, and interactions within the application (e.g., button clicks, page views).
You have full control over this tracking. We ask for your consent before enabling analytics cookies. You can opt-out at any time.
Local Processing: Most monitoring (Text & Progress Bar) happens entirely within your browser using local machine vision. Your screenshots never leave your device.
AI Features: If you use our Smart Watcher (VLM) features, cropped regions of your screen are sent to our own self-hosted AI servers in the European Union for analysis. These images are processed in RAM and are immediately deleted after analysis. They are never used for training or stored on disk.
If you are signed in, we store task-related screenshots and metadata to provide you with a task history feature. You remain in full control of this data: you can clear your task history at any time, which permanently deletes all associated screenshots and data from our servers.
Email Address (Optional): We only collect your email address if you explicitly sign up for our waitlist, newsletter, or notification services. This data is handled via Sender.net and is used solely for the purpose you subscribed for.
Notification Integrations: If you connect Discord or Telegram for alerts, we store your platform-specific User ID or Chat ID. This identifier is used exclusively to send you notifications. For Telegram, we generate a persistent secret link valid for 10 days to maintain your connection without re-pairing. We do not access your private messages or contact lists.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties.
